Crew Centre Outage

Air Canada Virtual advises all pilots that our Crew Centre remains offline at this time for an undetermined amount of time. This is due in part to hosting provider issues. We remain committed to finding a solution as soon as possible.

As many of our members are aware, we are currently experiencing a Crew Centre outage. At this time, we have identified the issue with our server hosting provider.

Due to the sheer amount of data phpVMS takes up, the server is no longer able to hold up with our demands. This is because of the following factors:

​

- vFinance (Which ACVA does not use)

- Pilot data (We have so many active pilots it broke)

- Existing server load

​

With this, we have moved to a new hosting provider, but will also be moving to the Flare Crew Centre. This is lighter for server performance and should allow for more uptime, allowing pilots to log flights.
